Peter Musyoka
Peter is a seasoned Development and M&E Professional with extensive hands-on experience conducting large-scale field research, environmental assessments, socio-economic studies, and multi-county data collection assignments across Kenya and the wider East African region. With over nine years of research experience, Peter has worked with leading organizations including KEMRI, WFP, IFAD-funded programmes, ILO, ADRA, SNV, AICS, USAID-KUZA, and numerous government agencies, supporting more than 40 baseline, midline, endline and impact evaluation studies across ASAL, coastal, and highland regions.
Peter brings strong technical competencies in survey design, data collection, analytics, environmental and livelihoods assessments, report writing, and stakeholder consultations. He has participated in marine, climate resilience, natural resources, and value chain assessments across counties such as Kilifi, Tana River, Kwale, Lamu, Mombasa, Marsabit, Garissa, Turkana, Samburu, Baringo, Siaya, Busia, Kakamega and Nakuru, giving him practical familiarity with Kenya’s coastal ecosystems, ASAL regions, and community dynamics. Peter holds a BSc. in Biology and is completing a Master of Arts in Project Planning and Management at the University of Nairobi, with additional professional certification in M&E and data analytics.
